Why Dominica?
The Dominica Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme is one of the longest-running in the world. It was launched in 1993 to help provide financial support for the country’s economy through foreign investment.
Since then, the Dominica CBI Programme has become one of the world’s most prominent being ranked the number one CBI programme for six consecutive years by the CBI Index.
The programme offers the most affordable route to citizenship. A single applicant can secure citizenship with only a $100,000 donation. The process is also simple and fast, with applications being processed within 90 days.
Routes to Citizenship
There are two ways to get Citizenship in Dominica; Real Estate Investment and Non-Refundable Contribution
Real Estate
Invest in a government-approved real estate project with a minimum value of $200,000.
This must be held for at least three years from the date citizenship is granted or for a minimum of five years from the date of citizenship if the future purchaser is also a citizenship by investment applicant.
Government fees apply on top of the required real estate investment amount for those who choose a real estate investment option.
Non-refundable contribution
Make a non-refundable contribution to the Economic Diversification Fund (EDF).
The EDF is a government programme that aims to drive national development. Money generated from the fund has been used to assist private and public sector projects, such as building schools, hospitals and sports stadiums.
The required contribution amounts are as follows:
Single applicant – $100,000
Main applicant and spouse – $150,000
Main applicant and up to three family members – $175,000
Additional dependents under 18 – +$25,000 per person
Additional dependents 18+ – +$50,000 per person
